sustainability

Our jewelry

We source all our jewelry entirely from certified manufacturers who are members of the Responsible Jewellery Council, a non-profit organization founded with the goal of monitoring ethical, social, and environmental practices throughout the entire supply chain. This means:

Responsible supply chains and respect for human rights

Application of procedures that ensure health, environmental protection and safety

Responsible mining or use of recycled materials

For our jewelry, we work with small businesses based in Thailand, Italy, England, and Germany. We complete and ship the pieces ourselves in our studio.

Packaging

It's important to us to create environmentally friendly packaging. That's why we completely avoid plastic. Your jewelry will be delivered in small bags made of organic cotton. These are shipped in FSC-certified boxes. The FSC seal is a certification for more sustainable forest management. The forests and plantations here may only be managed according to strict ecological and social principles. The boxes contain paper wool for padding and, for decorative items, organic chips that you can easily compost. For our stationery, we use paper and stickers made from sugarcane for packaging. Packages are shipped climate-neutrally with DHL.

Our stationery

For our postcards and art prints we use paper which, like our packaging, has the FSC seal.

Our art prints are printed in our studio only after the order has been placed. This prevents unnecessary waste of paper and ink. Our postcards are also printed in Germany.

We source the paper for our art prints from a German manufacturer who relies on sustainable energy and recycling and does not chemically treat water.

Every product sold plants a tree

For our tree-planting project, we are working with the Eden Reforestation Projects. The Eden Reforestation Projects are currently active in eight countries. They pay fair wages to local people, who take care of the cultivation of seedlings and planting. In this way, Eden simultaneously creates jobs and promotes reforestation. You can learn more here .
